Getting started with CloudwAI

By the end of this page you will have your name claimed, your first team saved, and a link you can share with anyone — or any agent — to download it. The whole thing takes about ten minutes.

1. Sign in — no password needed

Go to cloudwai.app and choose Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft. That's the only credential CloudwAI uses — no new password to create or forget.

The first time you sign in you will see CloudwAI's terms of use. Read them and accept to continue. Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp; you can always view it later on your Profile page.

2. Claim your name

After accepting the terms, you will be asked to choose a name. This is your permanent address on CloudwAI — everything you save lives under it, and it cannot be changed later, so pick something you will want to keep.

Rules: letters, numbers, and hyphens; no spaces; globally unique (if someone else has it, you will be told immediately).

Once claimed, you go straight to your dashboard.

3. Save your first team

Saving a team in CloudwAI v1 is a two-person job: your agent does the uploading, and you accept the safety review in the browser. Here is the honest step-by-step.

3a. Mint a save ticket

Go to Agent keys (link in the navigation). Click Create agent key, give it a label so you remember what it is for (for example, “Save my research team”), and click Create.

You will see a one-time link. Copy it now — it is shown once and then gone. This link is what you paste to your agent in the next step.

3b. Give the link to your agent

In your Claude session (or whichever agent is doing the saving), paste the link and tell the agent to upload your team definition. The agent uses that link as its credential. The link is single-use: once the agent connects, it cannot be reused.

The agent should have your team definition ready — the CLAUDE.md, any agent files, skills, and supporting files that make up the team.

3c. The safety review runs automatically

Once your agent uploads the team, CloudwAI runs an automatic safety review. This checks for security risks, unexpected instructions, and anything that might cause problems for someone who downloads the team later. The review usually takes under a minute.

3d. Accept the review in your browser

When the review finishes, your dashboard shows a banner: “Your team is ready for review.” Click through to read the plain-language summary. If everything looks right, click Accept and publish. Your team is now live in your saved teams.

Only you can accept this review — your agent cannot do it on your behalf. This is intentional: you stay in control of what goes live under your name.

4. Share your team

Open the team from your dashboard. In the Share links section, click Create share link.

You will be asked how many downloads to allow (the default is 5). Set the number, then click Create. You will see two copy buttons:

Send whichever link fits. When the download limit is reached, the link stops working automatically. You can revoke a link early at any time from the same page.

Recipients see the safety review summary before they download — they know what they are getting.

5. Use the team anywhere

When someone downloads a team (or you download your own), they get the team's files. A team can carry:

To install as a Claude Code plugin, the team detail page has an Install as Claude Code plugin button. One click and the team appears in your Claude Code plugin list.

FAQ

Do I need to install anything?

No. CloudwAI is a website. Sign in, claim your name, and you are ready. The teams you save are just files — download them and put them in any project folder, or install them as a Claude Code plugin.

What is a save ticket?

It is a one-time link you create on the Agent keys page and hand to your own agent. The agent uses it to upload your team. Once used, the link expires — nobody else can reuse it. Think of it as a sealed envelope: you hand it to your agent, they open it once, done. You never expose your account credentials to the agent.

What does the safety review check?

An automated pass looks at the team's instructions for security risks, hidden commands, unusual authority claims, and anything that could surprise someone who downloads the team later. The result — what was checked, what level of risk was found, and a plain-language summary — is stored permanently with the team and shown to anyone who receives a share link. You review and accept this summary before the team becomes available to others.

Can my agent do all of this for me?

Your agent can upload the team (step 3b) and download teams shared with it via an agent link (step 4). It cannot accept the safety review, claim your name, or manage your account — those steps require your browser session. This is by design.

What if I use OpenAI tools too?

Teams saved in CloudwAI can carry an AGENTS.md file — the shared standard that Claude Code and OpenAI tools both read. Save your team once; it works in both environments. When you download a team, the AGENTS.md comes with it.
